It has now been one year, one week and one day since C came out to me. It doesn't seem possible at all that it was only a year ago. But then again, it just happened! My mother always says that as you get older, time telescopes. I'll add to that: as you get older and, if your kid comes out as trans, time isn't ruled by the traditional rules of space and time.

This year has flown by. Everything and nothing has changed. We have a new kid, but enjoy raising the same kid as before. It's all so wonky.
